This variety is significantly different from the typical English rose in its more natural character and more vigorous growth. The flowers are a striking purple-red, developing individually in a shallow form that opens into informal rosettes. The petals quickly lose their intensity of color as the flowers age. The fragrance is of an old rose, enriched with strong notes of lemon peel.
The shrub forms a sturdy and relatively informal bush, reaching a mature height of 120-140 cm. It blooms repeatedly and profusely throughout the season, providing a constant source of beauty and fragrance.
