When Georges Delbard decided to create a rose named after him, he knew it had to be a special variety. But what does special mean? An unprecedented color? A perfume like no other? Or does the rose in general have to be a rare presence in any garden? Papi Delbard has a little bit of all of these.
A beautiful perfume with grapefruit and citrus notes, a magnificent combination of colors and a unique presence. The flowers are the color of ripe apricots, darker orange in the center and very warm yellow on the outside. The flowering is abundant, and the flowers are very large 12-15 cm. The petals are so dense that the flowers, a little heavy, hang slightly face down, as if bowing to the one who takes care of them. It blooms repeatedly from May to frost and is resistant to diseases and enemies.
