When Georges Delbard created the rose whose black buds turn into delicate dark red flowers, he decided that the best name for it was Le Rouge et Le Noir. Several rose lovers, Famous Roses clients who completed their gardens with Le Rouge et Le Noir, confessed to us that they admire this rose best when there is a light breeze in the garden, carrying on its wings the intoxicating fragrance of this unique rose.
The color of Le Rouge et Le Noire is preserved even on hot summer days, and its fragrance is a strong rose with vanilla nuances. The thick texture of the petals explains the very good vase life of the cut flowers. Its attractive and very robust foliage can reach 80 - 100 cm when mature.
Recommended for cut flowers in vases and floral arrangements. The cut flower has a durability of approx. 5 days.
